Welcome to My Blog: "Let's Cook with Patricia Gambarelli"

On this blog, I will be sharing my favorite recipes, restaurant reviews, cookbook reviews, articles about cooking, and travel. Along the way, I'll also share some thoughts about my years as a food writer, cooking teacher and the joys and challenges of being a Gourmet Club director.

Please join me on this wonderful journey - it's going to be fun!

  7. After a long-delayed Spring, Summer has arrived overnight. Four asparagus are sticking up in the vegetable bed along with some rhubarb. We planted lettuce and it is just taking up space. Thanks God for our Saturday's farmers market here in Falls Church. You must be way ahead at Sunset Beach

  10. Today I will probably make the Apple Crostata again, except I might substitute the apples with some berries or such. I love that recipe and will definitely use it in Germany!

  13. Hi Patricia!
My parents were amazed at your book! The only trouble is the language and the measurements but it's nothing we couldn't deal with :)
About a week ago we tried your Egg Parpadelle with Mushroom Sauce- it was delicious! Oh, and I made the Apple Crostata for my sister (she went to italy and is working there for a year!)-she loved it! Thanks for everything!

  14. Dear Gesa: I know how difficult it is to work with different measurements. Watch for conversion tables in magazines.
I'm so happy you are enjoying and making some of the recipes-
Send me some Italian recipes that your sister found in Italy. Best regards, my German friend.
